Relational Cultural Therapy (RCT)
I primarily practice through a Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT) lens which is a relational and healing centered approach to therapy. RCT emphasizes the importances of our relationships to our psychological well-being. As people, we are wired to connect, and when we don’t have that positive connections in our relationships, we are stuck in disconnection.
RCT also examines how larger social systems affect people and relationships and how disconnections can be rooted in oppression and marginalization. An RCT therapist works with you on processing these disconnections, and can discuss topics regarding identity and intersectionality (racial, ethnic, cultural, queer etc), relationships, boundaries, empowerment, body image, societal and community issues and expectations, anxiousness, grief, and more!

Specialties
RCT is not my only modality however! Take a look at my other modalities below!
Expressive Arts Therapy
Uses creative activities like drawing, painting, or movement to help people explore emotions and experiences that may be difficult to express with words. When doing this online you will need sheets of paper and art-based items.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy
Centers around the idea that we are all made of inner parts (an anxious part, a suicide part, a 17-year old part). Therapy involves identifying these parts and heal the parts that need more attention.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Skills
Focuses on building mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness to support coping and resilience, especially during intense emotions.
Attachment Therapy
Focuses on understanding how early relationships have shaped you, and identifying ways to build secure, trusting connections that promote emotional healing and growth.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy (Available in August 2025)
Centers around unprocessed memories that feel stuck so they become less emotionally charged and don’t interfere with day to day life. This therapy uses bilateral stimulation of the brain via eye movements, tapping, and/or sound.
Decolonizing Therapy
An approach to therapy that recognizes how colonialism, systemic oppression, and the erasure of culture (especially indigenous healings) shape current mental health. Modality is community-driven, and centers on giving voice to historically marginalized trauma and communities.
Somatic and Nervous System Regulation Strategies
Focuses on your nervous system, the way your body stores trauma, and identify ways to return to a grounded state or notice when you are not in a grounded state.
